Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms set out the rules for using Getlocate. Please read them carefully before you use the service.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Getlocate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
The service
Getlocate estimates where a mobile device is located from its phone number, drawing on carrier and network data. Results are best-effort estimates whose accuracy can vary, and the service is not a substitute for emergency services.
Eligibility
To use Getlocate you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
Acceptable use
Getlocate may be used only to locate a device you personally own, or the device of your own underage child in your capacity as their parent or legal guardian. You must not use it to track another adult without their explicit consent. Using the service lawfully is solely your responsibility. See our Legal Use page for details.
Pricing & payment
Getlocate is offered on a pay-per-search basis, and the price is shown clearly before you pay. Payment is handled by a third-party payment provider, and the full report is delivered once payment is complete.
Refunds
A 30-day money-back guarantee applies. If we cannot locate the number, or the result is clearly inaccurate, you may request a full refund. Our Refund Policy explains how to request one.
Accuracy & no guarantee
Location results are estimates derived from third-party network data; they are not guaranteed to be exact or available for every number. Getlocate must not be relied upon for emergencies — contact your local authorities instead.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Getlocate is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
All content, branding and software on this site belong to Getlocate or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who misuses the service or breaches these terms.
Governing law & changes
These terms may be updated from time to time, and the current version is always posted on this page. Any dispute is governed by the applicable laws of the operator's jurisdiction. For questions, use our Contact page.
